Judith Siebring was project manager for the communication for the Terug naar Westerbork Foundation from June 2018 until May 2020.
Terug naar Westerbork is an international (German/Dutch) organisation that contributed to the celebration of 75 years peace and freedom in The Netherlands and Germany in 2020. This included the organisation of a bicycle event along the former railway line from concentration camp Auschwitz, via Bergen-Belsen, back to the transit camp Westerbork. The project also included the organisation of two seminars (in The Netherlands and in Germany) and an educational programme for students. Sadly, the bicycle event had to be cancelled due to the coronacrisis. Fortunately, the other activitities could take place.
Talaria Communicatie coordinated the (mainly) external communication, which included collaboration with other volunteers and web developer WiesWies. Creating newsletters in Mailchimp, writing press releases and organising (press) meetings were also some of Judiths responsibilities. In addition, Judith was a sparring partner for the board.
